I get it.

Robot Chicken with Sonic and Mario sprites.
Clever. Poorly executed.
There was a tad bit too much slapstick. Also, it was noisy. Sometimes to the point where it was annoying, you know what I mean? Shrill screams and 8bit explosion sounds out of nowhere.
You obviously put some good work into this, and the idea is very unique so I'm hoping that you improve upon the idea in the future and/or someone else takes the idea and improves upon it.

Harsh yet fair. Thanks!

Shame.

It kind of sucks that this flash had to go the direction it went.
1 point for the awesome opening, that had me thinking good things were on the way.
1 extra point for The Cool Kids.
Other than that, terrible graphics and no real point.
You could have done much better with this...idea...
...whatever it was.

Very well done.

Beautiful piece, my friend.
Most of the score goes to the music, which I think fit brilliantly,
however the art direction was also fantastic.
Not to mention, you used your brief amount of time to make the point very clear.
Good work.

This is the only thing I'll ever watch forever.

And ever.

Legendary!

This could quite possibly be the greatest short film in the history of Newgrounds, if not the best submission the site has ever seen. Major props to Hania on the gorgeous score, and eternal amounts of kudos to James Lee for in a mere matter of minutes being able to captivate audiences and capture hearts with an original and amazing story, told through flawless art and whimsical song.

I am genuinely excited for the sequel.

Also, thank you for adding in the special features. Not only is it cool that you took the time to add that stuff, but some of it was very neat to watch.

Great start.

This started out really great and funny, but everything from the part with the skeletons on the plane until the end just didn't tickle me. But just the part with the Seal is worth 8 stars. I loved it.

Perfect

I'm just now getting around to reviewing this, but I've watched it AT LEAST once every day since it made front page. Perfect song. Perfect story. It has some kind of almost Disney-esque charm to it that makes it irresistible. Thank you very much for this.

Munglai responds:

Thank you for saying nice things.

Brilliant

I don't usually like this kind of thing, but I was hooked. The references to Silent Hill, Portal, Zelda, and Left 4 Dead were simply hysterical. And the action was very well choreographed. I wish those last two scenes hadn't of gone bye bye. Can't wait to see more stuff from you.

Nice

Quite honestly, there wasn't much special about this. The graphics were a little...bad. And it was very short. But since it was something you did for a friend's birthday, it would be very rude of me to give it a bad rating and talk shit on it. So instead I'm going to say "awwww" and tell you that you're very kind. : )
